Thank you Lord and Thank YOU for the prayers!!

I have been trying to write all day and thank all of you for your concern and prayers for my broken arm and the nerve/muscle damage that has occurred because of the immobilization of the arm.  What a dilemma!! I had to keep the upper arm still so it could heal and that made the muscles weak (if you don't use them, you lose them I always heard and it's so true!!). Now my elbow won't straighten out, the right hand and fingers don't work well yet either because of the edema (swelling) and the pain is really bad. It's extremely painful to try and hold a pen to write a check, or a simple thing like trying to make a fist.

Yesterday Terry and I went to see Dr. Scovell at Lubbock Sports Medicine to see what can be done and what is the next step?  He assured us that with Physical Therapy (PT) and lots of hard work doing the right therapy, working through lots of pain, I will be able to get my hand/arm back. It's going to take a while, but that's ok, I just want to be able to do things again (fix my hair, do my makeup, etc).  We were so thankful that Dr. Scovell said he didn't think I needed surgery!! That's a real blessing because of underlying health issues, any surgery would be extremely dangerous for me.

We just feel like the Lord is hearing all of our prayers and He has led us to the right doctors. Again, thank you all for caring and the continued prayers through this. Jesus still heals today and He is going to see us through this.

Until next time, remember..."With God all things are possible.".... We find faith by not only believing what Jesus says, but even more, by trusting Jesus Himself. If we only look at what He says, we will never believe. Once we see Jesus, the impossible things He does in our lives become as natural as breathing."
